Anna is owner and founder of Yoga Castle, LLC, established in Manhattan, Illinois in May of 2017. She built the business with passion and perserverance while working full-time as a court reporter and raising two daughters and just a year later opened a second location, Yoga Castle of Frankfort. Anna has a passion for living a happy, healthy, and vibrant life through the practice of yoga and Ayurveda, a holistic healthy way of living. She has been very athletic her whole life. For many years she ran marathons and only focused on getting the body physically healthy, and at that time her yoga practice was almost nonexistent. As the years went by, as life and stress continued to happen, she just felt that she was missing something and that there was way more to life than just going through the motions. So she started taking more yoga classes and began to realize that yoga was way more than just stretching. It was about finding your true self and what you want in life. She then committed to yoga teacher training and signed up for what she later discovered was a life-changing experience. Anna completed her 200-hour teacher training at the school of Yoga 360 in 2016 and continues to learn by attending workshops and teacher trainings, growing each day in her journey as a yoga teacher. Anna has also studied Ayurvedic Counseling and Home Remedies and has attained her Ayurvedic Counseling and Home Remedies Certifications at the Ayurvedic Healing Institute under Dr. Suhas and Dr. Manisha, who are her personal mentors. She has also completed The Pathway to Enlightenment program, studying under the teachings of Deepak Chopra at The Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California. She also became fascinated with Pilates, the mind-body connection, the strength and the stability, and received her certification in Pilates mat and reformer through NETA. She is also a certified Level I and II Reiki practitioner and Reiki Master.
Currently, Anna stays inspired doing what she loves and continues to deepen her practice by studying at the Mount Madonna Institute, enrolled in the Ayurveda Yoga Therapist Program.
